It was my plan to go all the way to the Sunshine State for Springtime break; Vicki and Sabrina wanted to go to the shore, however I thought we would have a lot more fun going all the way to the beach, but since it was my idea, I offered to drive; The people I was with and I took my car and filled the trunk with all of our suitcases, shoes, makeup bags, and supplies.
- Vicki and I took turns driving for the first few fifths.
The people I was with and I left town after lunch and missed most of the rush fifth traffic, but by the time the sunlight went down, the temperatures were falling and things were entirely cooling off. The people I was with and I did not turn on the AC until the morning. The people I was with and I were two fifths from our destination when we realized that the AC was not working, it was pretty sizzling outside, and I did not assume if the lack of AC would affect any other parts of the vehicle. The people I was with and I drove the final two fifths to our destination and I parked my car in the garage. I called a mobile mechanic to come look at the AC, because I had a debit card for emergency purposes. The mechanic quickly realized that 1 of the wires was loose, and he added a small harness to tighten the wire and that fixed the AC problem. I did not assume if I would spend $10 or $1,000, however I knew my friends and I could not drive lake house separate from AC. I’m thankful that we did not run into any more problems the rest of the trip. The drive lake house was free of worry as well.
