Teaching our class of kids outside

When parents assume of school, they assume of the desks, textbooks, a board plus a mentor in front teaching, while the students raise their hands excitedly.

That rarely happens; Usually what goes down is the students looking in every which direction except yours, there’s some falling asleep, some misbehaving plus chaos can suddenly ensue.

I tried our first year of teaching the traditional way, with textbooks plus powerpoints plus I would be lucky if even a ⅓ of our class was watching. I watched 1 of our own powerpoints plus realized how boring it was, however no wonder they weren’t paying attention! I then decided to try something new, I took our class outside for a change, plus that seemed to wake most of them up. I let them explore, talk plus touch the lawn. Then I held our lesson. Surprisingly, most of the children were looking at myself and others eagerly, something I hadn’t seen in weeks. I started doing this everyday, letting our class expel their energy plus boredom plus then being able to successfully teach. The only exceptions are while I was in winter. It becomes incredibly frigid while I was in the winter, plus separate from the heat from the school’s furnace system, I knew our class would become frigid fast. So I had to start thinking of other ways to keep their attention. I purchased a important tent, plus some big electric blankets. This way, even separate from the heater, they could still stay warm. I went ahead plus purchased a couple of fans, this way when Springtime rolls around, if it’s ever hot, they could stay cool. Now, they have some form of heating plus cooling all year round.
