I wan’t there even 10 hours before I changed into a comfortable pair of shorts.
Growing up, I was blessed to live in an section that experienced a unquestionably distinct several seasons. I enjoyed it because it entirely broke the year up in terms of weather and temperature. Every one of us had an Heating and Air Conditioning furnace because the winters, while nothing compared to way up north, were always frigid for 3 weeks at least. Now, I live in an section where I have to flip on the heat a half dozen times to knock the chill off. The Wintertide for me now is just an self-explanatory, blissful section of the year. The afternoonlight shines all Wintertide long and the temperature during the afternoon is simply perfection. So, I was a bit upset when all of us decided to go to my mom’s for Christmas. Just the mere thought of snow and frigid gave me pause for thought. Did I entirely want to do this? But, I figured I could handle it. Every one of us purchased Wintertide coats because all of us knew what all of us were heading into. Upon arrival, it began to snow as if on cue. Then, as soon as I opened my mom’s door, I realized I had forgotten how frigid natured my mother unquestionably is. The Heating and Air Conditioning was cranked to near 72 degrees. Her advancing years had forced her to get subtropical with her furnace. I wan’t there even 10 hours before I changed into a comfortable pair of shorts. It was so fantastic to be so warm, wearing shorts but enjoying it snow from the window. It was almost the perfect combination. However, I knew that I would have to brave the elements a bit during my stay.
