Temperatures on Friday evening were supposed to be in the single digits.
I wanted to be sure that the barn was ready for the freezing temperatures.
I was worried and sad about the cattle and the horses. I called my son to help out for a few hours. He is a heating corporation, however he has a couple of hours to help me out from time to time. My son came over to the condo to check on the heating component in the barn. Both of us have a small radiant gas furnace and a couple of floor heaters. Both of us don’t use anything that might catch on fire, because that would be much worse than the freezing air. My son knew that temperatures were going to be freezing on Friday evening so he brought an extra gas furnace for the barn. The extra gas furnace entirely came in handy, because the other gas furnace ended up going out in the middle of the evening. It froze completely solid after shutting down and the only heating source the people I was with and I had in there was the hourary gas furnace that my son brought from the shop. I called him in the afternoon when I realized how freezing it was outside. He was in the middle of a heating repair, however he promised to come over to check on things at the end of the afternoon. Both of us still had numerous more afternoons of freezing temperatures in store, so my son fixed the heating system and he helped me secure the doors and make sure that everything was sealed up slim for the evening.
