There are days where everything just goes wrong and keeps getting worse. Anything that could have gone wrong today, did. It all started on my way to work when I experienced car trouble. I realized that I had a flat tire. I pulled over on the side of the road to change the spare. When I reached in the trunk for the jack, I couldn’t find it in the trunk, then as I was frantically searching the trunk, I remembered that the jack was in my partner’s car. I had to call the roadside repair corporation to change my tire. I was an hour late for work and my manager gave me a written warning. It was my 1st time being late in over a year. I forgot my lunch in the car of course in my rush too, and I didn’t have any cash in my purse. I spent most of the day hungry, thirsty, weary, and frustrated. When I was getting prepared to leave the building and go home, the electronic card access method wasn’t even working. Every day and night, each employee has to use the electronic card access system. The method finds out when all of us enter and leave the building. They use the electronic card access method for security and payroll reasons. I have to swipe my card to leave the building. I swiped my card more than 2 or 3, and it wouldn’t open, and some of my co-workers swiped their electronic access card and it worked perfect. I wanted a single one of them to let me shotgun, however no worker wanted to risk their work. I had to wait for help.
