I’m not an Heating and A/C specialist, but I have to confess that I have a pretty good eye.
I looked at the heating system when the two of us purchased the house, and I was sure it would work.
It looked brand current and wasn’t dusty. I know that should have been our first warning, because when the heating system is in a dirt floored basement, it shouldn’t be immaculately clean! Like I said; I’m not an Heating and A/C specialist. I decided that, based on what I could see when looking at the heating system and A/C unit, I shouldn’t need loft inspections before the two of us purchased the house. Fast forward various months, and I was having concerns with the heating system. When the Heating and A/C specialist arrived, he asked why the previous owners hadn’t had the heating system substituted before selling? He had been telling them for the past more than one years that the Heating and A/C system needed substituted. He commented they had done an excellent task cleaning the ‘old boy’ up, but that didn’t make the heating system running any better. He asked if they had installed a current A/C unit? I shook our head, and he looked at me. He asked why I didn’t have the inspections done before buying the house? I told him the heating system looked like it should work. He told me his Grandpa looked like he should labor too, but that didn’t mean he should when he was almost ninety years old. I got the point and asked him for an quote on a current Heating and A/C system. He told me he would put in a call to the Heating and A/C corporation, and he could be at the house that afternoon if he didn’t have a full schedule.
