Before I opened a maintenance corporation in town, there were only 2 places that gave heating & A/C repairs.
- The owners of the suppliers outrageous prices.
They could pretty much charge anything they wanted, because there were only 2 places. That is 1 of the greatest reasons why I decided to start my own business. I could have started working for 1 of those companies, even though I thought it was going to be more beneficial to open a corporation of my own. I started off working on the weekends. I had 100 corporation cards printed out at the print shop. The telephone number for the corporation was printed on the card. The first set of corporation cards that I ordered were misprinted. The number was printed backwards on the corporation cards. All of the numbers were jumbled up & there was absolutely no way to contact the heating & A/C maintenance maintenance using that card. Thankfully, the print shop refunded my currency & reprinted the corporation cards for free. The minute time they were made, the number was printed officially. I gave out all of those corporation cards in the first months that I was open for business. It took a while before I had a bunch of official customers, however now I am the number 1 maintenance provider in the region. I put 1 of the companies out of corporation & the other heating & A/C maintenance maintenance is struggling to stay afloat. I am always hiring employees that no longer want to work for the other business.
