The propane heater in our dining room stopped working

I feel like I have the worst luck ever.

My husband and I joke about how unlucky we are sometimes.

We have had so many things go wrong that our friends even pick on us for being unlucky. For instance, we bought a new microwave a few months ago because the handle on our last one had broken off. Two days after we installed the new microwave a pipe burst in our wall while we weren’t home, and the water destroyed the ceiling in the kitchen causing it to cave in and ruin our new microwave. Thankfully, the insurance covered getting a new one. We just had another unlucky thing happen to us on Christmas day. We were getting ready for family to come over when the heater in our dining room stopped working. Our dining room is located in a very strange place in our house, and there is no duct work in there, so the only source of heat in that room was the propane heater that hung on the wall. We planned to have our huge Christmas feast in that room, but the heater quit about three hours before our guests were supposed to arrive. I was so bummed. The room was down to about fifty-five degrees by the time everyone showed up, so we ended up having to eat in the living room instead. We still have no idea what happened to our propane heater. Hopefully, my husband’s friend, Bill, will be able to fix it. He was an HVAC technician for years, so he thinks that he can figure out what is wrong with it.
