The rental cabin was awesome, but I wished they provided a cooling system

By the time we got back, the place was perfectly cooled and it was unbelievable

I have always enjoyed camping, so I was especially excited when I rented a cabin with my wife for the first time. We ended up going in the summer season and it was quite the experience. The nature in the area was beautiful and we were located near a lake that we could walk to within 10 minutes. We were able to go fishing and we managed to catch a few. We would end up cooking the fish over the fireplace in the cabin. The only thing I was disappointed about was the fact that there was no air conditioning. My wife said it wasn’t a big deal because there were a few ceiling fans. I didn’t think those were enough. When we opened the windows, we did get a breeze coming through that helped, but it still felt extremely hot and humid. I thought it was unacceptable, but I remembered seeing an HVAC store about 20 minutes away from our cabin. I took my wife with me and we looked at portable cooling systems. We ended up getting one that wasn’t too heavy, but provided enough cooling to keep that cabin comfortable. We hooked up the cooling system and then went hiking. By the time we got back, the place was perfectly cooled and it was unbelievable. The cabin was so cool, we were even able to get a small fire going in the fireplace so we could cook our fish dinner. Everything turned out beautifully, but I did call the rental company and told them they needed to hook up cooling systems in their cabins.
