Most people don’t see Santa look alike running around the mall in the middle of August, but that’s what I saw on Wednesday day.
My sibling & I went to the mall to buy some new bathing suits for the summer time weather.
Every one of us grabbed some lunch from a vendor in the food court while both of us were shopping. I got a couple of tacos & a burrito, but our sibling decided to get a chicken caesar wrap from the sub shop. Every one of us were sitting at the food court, when both of us quickly heard a strange sound coming from the south end of the food court. I looked up from our burrito & I saw a person in a Santa costume running at full speed, but he was carrying a large box while being chased by 2 cops. My sibling & I tried not to laugh, but it was an harshly funny sight to see. The person in the Santa suit eventually tripped & fell on the box that key was carried. The mall cops arrested the guy, and later that night on the news, our sibling & I found out that the person in the Santa costume was trying to steal an AC unit. The guy walked right into the store & picked up an AC unit off the shelf. The guy didn’t guess anyone would stop Santa carrying an AC, but the security guy didn’t care if it was Santa or the Easter Bunny. They chased the guy through the mall until he tripped & fell. The AC unit was returned to the store with minor disfigures.
