My youngest kid Max was taking up a woodshop at high school.
Max was bragging about how by the end of the year, Max would be able to make myself and others a table that would look as if it just came out of the finest furniture store in the area.
Max told our spouse that all she needed was 50 bucks to pay for the wood she would put into the table. I was looking at our spouse when Max approached him for $50, as well as I could see the look on our spouse’s face. My wife wasn’t sure she wanted to section with 50 bucks if it looked anything enjoy the wooden table our older kid had made when she was taking woodshop. The wooden table our older kid brought home had two legs shorter than the others. All you needed to do was touch the table, as well as it began wobbling. Had they been legs on the same edge of the table, the wobbling would not have been there as well as all I would’ve had to fuss about was everything sliding to that side of the table, but sadly they were shorter on opposite corners of the table. If everything was in the center of the table it would balance itself out, however most of the time I used a seasoned paperback book underneath those ends to keep our table even. I like the wooden table Max made for me, however it took our spouse a while to figure out how to repair the legs so that the two of us did not have books sticking out from underneath them, then now, Max was talking about making myself and others a wooden table. I told Max the two of us already had a home office table, as well as it would be nice if she were to make a wooden Dunkin Donuts Coffee table.
