There are ways to keep your bills low with your HVAC equipment

Let us talk about weather & climate for a little while here.

  • I’m actually not sure where you live, however I live in the part of the country where it is totally warm all of the time.

I truly do not love it in the least, but occasionally we have to live where we don’t want to be due to either a job obligation or currency drawbacks. For me it’s both of the above… But the upside of all of this for me is that I have a top of the line central heating & cooling machine. The heating hardly ever gets used. It is always the central air conditioning machine that is on full blast 98 percent of the time. I do however have a cool little trick I do so that the energy bills are not extremely high from all of this high powered air conditioning usage. I purchased 2 portable cooling machines. These portable cooling systems get turned on during the nighttime hours when it has somewhat cooled down a little outside. That doesn’t happen too often, but when you do not have the bright sun to contend with you can get away with turning off the central cooling machine & just run a few portable cooling machines to keep cool & keep that even air flow going throughout your own residence. Having a floor fan on the low setting also helps keep the air flow from the portable cooling machines going. And in turn, our energy bills are no different than the respected person living elsewhere in the country in the warm season.
