I work for an online marketing firm and I make websites for different businesses.
Typically what I focus on is HVAC websites.
I don’t write the content or handle PPC. What I do is web builds and SEO. I create a website and I help it rank better on google. I have gotten quite good at the SEO side and the website building side. Every website has to be unique. It is hard when I do so many for HVAC companies. Everyone wants their site laid out similarly. I need to have a homepage with neutral colors, the phone number clearly displayed and enough information to entice. Then I do separate builds for heating repair, cooling service and HVAC installation pages. Sometimes the website focuses on air quality or maybe even ductwork sealing. No matter what though, it is getting hard to be original. I try to pick a theme and a color scheme that is different for each business. The last HVAC company I did a web build for had green in their name. They also boasted about being energy efficient by only using environmentally friendly materials. Also, the removal of parts and harmful materials is done in a planet friendly way. So I made the websites all in shades of green and white. I added a little bit of plant life as icons as well. I then called up our content writer and told them to focus on the energy efficient side. The website does look like the HVAC provider is personally saving the world. I am quite proud of it.
