Using keywords to reach new customers

While my peers are unwilling to embrace chance, I educate myself. I am up to date with online advertising. I am a 55-year-old woman who started my own company over twenty years ago. Back then, there was no such thing as an online presence. I advertised in the phone book and the newspaper. I bought ads for radio and television. However, times change, and I made sure to stay on top of technology. I was one of the first companies to estable a website and even created social media pages for my small HVAC business. I’ve figured out how to make simple adjustments that have helped my company grow and reach new customers. Most home and business owners who call us for repairs or installation have found my company through our website or social media page. I just recently learned the importance of keywords. It makes sense that when potential customers turn to the internet to find heating, cooling and air quality services, they type specific words into the search bar. They look for furnace repair, air conditioner installation, duct sealing and make it specific to their location. When someone in my area is in need of the services my company provides, I want us to show up on their screen. I want my website to grab their attention and encourage them to reach out to us. I’ve added a contact form so that they can get in touch right through the computer. Very often, we set up service calls that way. It’s convenient for the customer and generates lots of new leads for my company.
