I consider myself one of the lucky ones.
I have a stable job that provides great income, and because of this, it didn’t take me long to afford my own home.
That is really something, because where I live, the homes are incredibly expensive, and most people are stuck in apartments or maybe condos if they’re lucky. Unless you have a lot of money, you probably won’t live in a nice home here. Or if you are able to afford a cheap home, it’s either in a bad area, or a damaged home. But the home I bought is flawless, and it is perfect in another way. It recently had brand new heating and air conditioning installed. The previous owners had the central air conditioning replaced with the latest and greatest HVAC technology, and it really shows. Because this HVAC system has a great SEER rating, it is very energy efficient, and does not cost a lot of money to run, as well as it cools and heats the home quickly. It really is lovely. Not everyone is so lucky though. My uncle bought a home around the same time, and he didn’t get so lucky. The home he bought was a lot cheaper, and needed repairs. The HVAC machine was an absolute mess, and after having six A/C technicians come out to his home, would you believe the machine is still not fixed? I feel bad for him, and I feel incredibly lucky to not have to worry about such an issue.
