My job requires me to travel abroad.
I have gone to all sorts of places within the US and around the world.
I’m quite thankful for the opportunity to visit so many places and enjoy different cultures and food that I would have never been exposed to otherwise. Unfortunately, traveling so often comes with some downsides. I can’t remember the last time I was home for longer than a couple weeks at a time. As a result of this, I had to let go of my two dogs who were clearly not being given the attention that they needed. I was sad to see them go, but I gave them to a good family that I knew I could trust. With the dogs gone however, I could take full advantage of a recent piece of climate control technology that I purchased. I invested in a smart thermostat. It was convenient for someone who travels as often as I do. The main thing is that I can control the thermostat from my smartphone from anywhere in the world. This made it to where, even though my climate control was off for my entire trip, by the time I arrived back at the airport and was ready to get back in my car to head home, I could get on the app on my smartphone and turn the air conditioner on for my arrival. This way, I could save money by not heating and cooling a home while away, but I also arrived in comfort, as if it never turned off!
