My kid had been playing outside for about an hour, but I wsn’t sure what he was doing.
I thought my oldest child was seeing him since my buddy and I lived by the ocean.
He was used to him playing in the sand, but I saw him head to the water. He had buckets of water he brought back which I thought he was using to make a sand castle. I walked outside plus my child was tied up with his friends, but my kid was pouring the salt water in the a/c unit. He told me he was washing it because it a lot of sand on it. I knew salt water was a corrosive, but I wasn’t sure if the a/c device could handle the salt water being poured directly into it. I yelled at my child plus told his friends to go home. I then sent his plus his brother inside. I told his how his brother had been dumping salt water in the a/c unit, plus if it was broken, he was going to pay for a current AC unit. All I heard was that it wasn’t fair, as he Marched to his home office. My kid was crying because he didn’t realize he was doing anything wrong. I was calling the Heating plus Air Conditioning dealer to make sure nothing was wrong with the cooling system unit. The Heating plus Air Conditioning specialist said that most a/c units in this section had enclosed components because of the salt in the air plus water. Salt was a corrosive, but the a/c device should be okay. I didn’t tell my child what I said, because I wanted his to worry.
