Over the years, I have had several people ask if the mini cut systems are entirely efficient… The simple answer is, sure I guess.
The only concern with a mini cut method is that several heating and A/C companies advertise them as being ‘homeowner friendly’.
The homeowner can honestly install the mini cut heating and A/C method on their own, in addition to needing virtually no service… I don’t agree with this statement! As the owner of an actual heating and A/C corporation, I wanted to supply full disclosure to this statement. A homeowner can install a mini cut heating and A/C system, but you need the right tools, many people, in addition to the knowledge to do so. The random homeowner is not going to install the mini cut on their own. Not knowing they need to have some service done, they end up calling the heating and A/C supplier in addition to asking questions. There can be mold coming out of the air vents, in addition to it needing to be flushed about once a year. If you don’t assume how to do this properly, you can make a big mess in the house. I would recommend for anyone who is considering purchasing ductless heating and A/C, you should first consult the heating and A/C supplier of your choice, make sure you have the most energy efficient you can afford, in addition to have the heating and A/C supplier show you the optimal locale to put the mini cut units. It will simply save the homeowner time, money, in addition to grief if you just consult the heating and A/C supplier about the mini cut heating and A/C system, before you purchase it. As an actual heating and A/C specialist, I would never plan to install an actual heating and A/C method without first contacting an actual heating and A/C corporation for a free consultation.
