Working out on stationary bike

Two years ago, my husband gave me a stationary bike for Christmas. It was an awesome surprise and a fantastic present. I exercise every single day and make physical fitness a priority in my life. In the area where we live, the weather frequently makes an outdoor workout impossible. When I’m trapped inside the house, I’m limited in what I can do. There’s not a great deal of space, and I don’t want to break something. Pedaling the bike is a really advantageous alternative. It’s also an ideal exercise for resting my joints. There’s no hard impact on my knees, ankles or feet. I love using the bike when I’m especially tired, sore or stressed. All I need to do is sit down, choose a program and start pedaling. The bike features a touchscreen that allows me to select from all different types of sessions. I can easily increase the intensity by elevating resistance or pedaling faster. I’m able to set a goal for the workout such as time duration, number of calories burned or distance. I blast my music while I cycle, have a water bottle handy and read on my Ipad. I typically burn anywhere from 400 to 600 calories. It’s such a pleasant workout that I feel a little guilty about it. I’d think I’m not doing enough but when I get off the bike, I can feel the exertion in my legs. However, I only let myself ride the bike once or twice a week. I don’t usually get breathless while I’m cycling and there’s no way to work my arms.
