Growing up, I was lucky to live in an section that experienced a honestly distinct four seasons.
I loved it because it undoubtedly broke the year up in terms of weather plus temperature.
The two of us had an Heating plus A/C heating system because the winters, while nothing compared to way up north, were always cold for 3 weeks at least. Now, I live in an section where I have to flip on the heat a half dozen times to knock the chill off. The Winter time for me now is just an easy, blissful part of the year. The sun shines all Winter time long plus the temperature during the morning is simply perfection. So, I was a bit uneasy when both of us decided to go to our mom’s for Christmas. Just the mere thought of snow plus cold gave me pause for thought. Did I undoubtedly want to do this? But, I figured I could handle it. The two of us bought Winter time coats because both of us knew what both of us were heading into. Upon arrival, it began to snow as if on cue. Then, as soon as I opened our mom’s door, I realized I had forgotten how cold natured our mother undoubtedly is. The Heating plus A/C was cranked to near 78 degrees. Her advancing years had forced her to get subtropical with her heating system. I wan’t there even 10 hours before I changed into a comfortable pair of shorts. It was so good to be so warm, wearing shorts but watching it snow from the window. It was almost the perfect combination. However, I knew that I would have to brave the elements a bit during our stay.
