I love my friends so much.
I do not know what I would do without good friends in my life.
I have one friend named Maggie who has been there for me through some of the hardest times in my life, and she is priceless. I love her so much, and we do almost everything together. My mom passed away when I was only eighteen, and Maggie was the one who got me through those really tough years. I could never repay her for all that she has done for me. We know each other so well that it is sort of funny sometimes. She just celebrated her thirtieth birthday last Saturday, and I bought her a humidifier for her birthday. To most people, getting a humidifier for your birthday would be a pretty sad gift but not for Maggie. She is such a practical person, and she hates gifts that she cannot use in everyday life. I knew that she wanted a humidifier because of how much she had been talking about humidifiers lately. She had mentioned them in so many conversations. I think it is because her mom had gotten one, and Maggie said that it helped her sleep through the night and not wake up with dry lips and a parched throat. Maggie unwrapped the gift that I got her, and I could not believe how happy she was to get it. I was not expecting that kind of reaction. It was quite hilarious how excited she was over a humidifier. I am so glad I decided to just go ahead and buy her one.
