Going to the zoo is one of our number one things to do. I always go in the springtime, the fall, and even in the winter time when the temperature outside gets pretty cold. I just can’t rest going to the zoo when the temperatures become unbearingly hot. I would rather just stay at home in the nice cool air conditioning. I wish that there were more buildings at the zoo with air conditioners. I suppose that besides the penguins and the polar bears, most of the animals don’t entirely love the cold. Every time I try to go to the zoo in the summer, I end up hanging out in the diner and the gift shop because those are the only areas that have air conditioning. Obviously, there’s entirely no reason to go to the zoo to just hang out in the diner and the gift shop! However, I get entirely tired of visiting the polar bears and the penguins, but I entirely do not like being hot. I know I’m not the only one who notices this though. The guy at the zoo office told me that their number of visitors goes down every year in the summer. I believe that they should just put portable cooling stations around the zoo so that people can have places to cool down, or atleast have ice cream or some cooling treat to help with the heat.
