After about many years of complaining regularly about the heating plus cooling situation in the office suite of rooms, the manager for the property finally decided to make updates to the heating plus AC unit. I believe it cost a great deal of money to update the cooling plus heating unit, so I don’t really blame her for not taking care of the problem sooner. I’m sure the cost was definitely a factor. I guess the heating plus AC message throughout stories of this building is actually complicated. The whole time every one of us is in the office, the boss typically complains about the indoor temperature. The thermostat is often set on 69 degrees and the room temperature rarely goes below 70. Every one of us have had some trouble and we have contacted the AC boys. They told myself and others that this single unit was there to serve the boss’s office. There is a separate heating plus AC unit to service the office plus even the reception area. Complete strangers were in control of our AC temperature and I didn’t even know about it. There was really a problem and typically it was an issue to have these people together. When there was some problems with the ductwork, all of us knew right away that that company needed to be called to fix the problem.
