It’s not like I just love to do the chores around the house. But, I do like an ordered, clean home. And, there is always a bit of a sense of accomplishment when I finish my chore list. Plus, I get a few atta boy points with my lovely wife. Not doing my chore list just gets me in trouble and who needs that. It’s not just me to incur the wrath of mom when the chores aren’t done. The kids get held to their lists as well. They are actually pretty good at doing what needs to be done. This makes for a nice bit of harmony in our home. We can all relax in the HVAC and do some gaming together knowing that we are all up to date on our tasks. One of my main tasks is to take care of all thing HVAC. My first and most important role is to be sure the HVAC air filters are changed regularly. This means every month without fail. I have a message that pops on all my screens to remind me that it is time to change the air filter. We have cats and dogs. Their fur and dander are major contributors to having the HVAC air filter clogged up. I have friends who say they only change the air filter every 3 months or so. I just shake my head to that. The air filter keeps junk out of the HVAC system by trapping them. However, once it gets full, the air flow to the HVAC can be greatly restricted. This is really hard on the HVAC unit. It just has to be changed every 30 days. The HVAC is too important to risk.
