Now that I am back at my office job after an amazing two week vacation I am starting to second guess what I am doing for a living.
For my much needed vacation I made my way to a lovely patch of islands filled with friendly and welcoming people.
I ended up spending most of my time hanging out by the ocean, taking snowboarding lessons, and eating fresh food. Once the day began to wind down I would head back to my beach house where there was a state of the art air conditioning unit that would help me sleep like a baby at night. Now that I am back home in the south however, I am feeling miserable. In my office I sit inside typing emails in my office without any access to air conditioning and spend the other part of my days at home with my dog. I don’t think that this type of lifestyle is one that anyone should want to live, and I think it is finally time that I make a change in my life. I would have packed up and moved to that island already if it weren’t for how much debt I am in due to buying my house at such a young age. It seemed like a steal of a deal at the time, but as I came to realize after a bout a year, there are always unexpected problems with old houses. I am still as motivated as ever to make my way back down to the islands with the amazing beach house with state of the art AC, I think it’s just a matter of time.
