I have this one closet in the hallway of my house that always ends up getting this nasty sort of smell going on.
The bad smell usually happens from the humidity in the beginning of the Summer.
Well, this last year I was really tired of having to deal with it, because the smell would sometimes leak through the closet, and into our living room! I had tried using air fresheners in there to combat the smell, but they did not really work well. They just masked it for a little while. What did finally work, was going to the store and buying a portable air purification system! I could not believe I didn’t think of this before. I knew about portable air purification systems, but I didn’t think they would work to eliminate that bad smell in the closet, since it was from humidity. It turns out, that because it was really just a case of bad air quality, the portable air purification system actually did the trick! All I had to do, was plug in the portable air purification system, run the wire under the closet door, and have the portable air purification system sitting in the closet at full blast. That cleared both the bad smell, and it also made the hallway have the best air quality too! It actually got me thinking to maybe look into investing in a whole home air purification system! If the portable one did this for that closet, and made the hallway have great air quality, imagine what a whole home air purifier could do for the entire house!
