DIY a/c service gone wrong

I suppose your a/c should be cleaned out and tested at least once a year, and i consider myself a bit of a handyman so I decided I should just service my air conditioner myself, then after watching more than 2 videos, I got the right oil and then I got to work with my tools. I started vacuuming and oiling all of the components. I was careful about it and I took my time; However, when I put my a/c back together, it would not turn on again. I took it apart once more and looked through everything but could not figure out the problem, then finally, I knew I would have to call out the professional a/c specialists, then this was not something I could fix myself. A specialist from a real a/c supplier came out the following afternoon. The specialist looked over my a/c and turned a switch on. He said that was the only issue with it. Apparently, I had simply turned my a/c off. I must have bumped the switch when I was moving things around and cleaning. I felt genuinely stupid. However, I felt a bit better when the a/c specialist told myself and others that I did a genuinely great job servicing and cleaning my a/c. He added that his a/c supplier genuinely doesn’t charge legitimately much for this genre of service though. If I ever decide not to do it myself, they would be more than ecstatic to come out and help myself and others out. I thanked him but I am genuinely looking forward to cleaning my air conditioner again next year! Maybe I can do it all by myself next time.
