Remaining calm is the best way

When an emergency situation comes up, it is always wise to remain calm.

Freaking out will get you nowhere but making things worse.

In a situation like I had the other month, keeping calm was the best way. My central air conditioning system had broke down smack in the middle of a huge heatwave we were having, and by my luck, there was no certified heating and air conditioning specialists available for emergency HVAC repair service. So the next step was to schedule the heating and cooling repair appointment for the next day and then go to hotel to take shelter in full working air conditioning. But even that backfired as the hotel in town was all booked up due to some convention in town. I was in real trouble and at a high life risk having nowhere to take shelter in this horrible heatwave with no air conditioning! Rather than freaking out and getting myself sicker than I may become naturally, I was calm and thought things out. I went into pure survival mode. I was able to get by till the next day through drinking lots of cold water, throwing cold water from the fridge on myself, and then I ended up taking naps in my car which had perfectly working air conditioning! This is how I survived this awful 24 hour period. It was sheer hell, but I survived by keeping calm and thinking logically on how to survive! The heating and air conditioning specialist fixed the a/c the next day, and I took a very long nap after that!
