Leaking is not good

Whenever you notice your air vents of your central heating and air conditioning system leaking during the summer, this is a sign that something is wrong.

When you are running the air conditioning system, if you start getting leakage of water from the air vents, this is condensation build up.

And most of the time, the reason for this is because you have bad insulation in your home. It means that there is hot air from outside coming into your home from somewhere. Not only is this bad for your central air conditioning system by making it work overtime to cool your home. But it also can raise your electric bills like crazy as a result. This happened to me recently and I knew exactly what it meant. So I did the investigation of trying to find out where the hot air was getting in from, and when I did, I went to the hardware store to buy some weather stripping and I resealed everything. Then I noticed the condensation went down a little but it still wasn’t gone. So I called the local heating and air conditioning company and they sent a certified heat and a/c specialist to look into the matter further. It turned out that there was still hot air getting in through the ductwork. So what they had to do was some ductwork sealing. After I got my ductwork sealed, the hot air issue was finally gone and my central heating and air conditioning system was able to work as normal again, and my electric bills were saved!
