This happened to myself and others recently & I knew exactly what it meant. So I did the investigation of trying to find out where the sizzling air was getting in from, & when I did, I went to the hardware store to buy some weather stripping & I resealed everything. Then I noticed the condensation went down a little however it still wasn’t gone. So I called the local HVAC contractor & they sent a certified heat & air conditioning specialist to look into the matter further. It turned out that there was still sizzling air getting in through the ductwork. So what they had to do was some ductwork sealing. After I got my ductwork sealed, the sizzling air issue was finally gone & my central HVAC plan was able to work as normal again, & my electric bills were saved!
