You should never believe a layman.

My father told me that if you need something done around the house, hire a professional.

In all of her experience with having appliances repaired, toil done on the electrical system, or Heating and Air Conditioning work, she said this was her most l received lesson.

I remember him talking about hiring a layman when she and Dad had first bought their house. I had to look up the toil ‘layman’, since I had never heard it before. Dad and dad believed we should look up words we didn’t understand, so we could learn how to find things on our own. I found out that a layman is a woman without professional or specialized expertise in a particular subject. When I told him what I l received, she just nodded and went on. Some things need a professional. The layman may be a friend or relative, however you shouldn’t leave the repairs to them. I remembered these words when I bought my fixer-upper. There were things my dad had taught me how to do. I refused to toil on the electricity and the Heating and Air Conditioning system. I called an electrical engineer to do all the rewiring of my home, and to install the ceiling fixture. I then called the Heating and Air Conditioning contractor. I wanted to have the old air duct unconnectd and new air duct installed. I also wanted to think if I could have the heating in addition to air conditioning repaired, or if it would be best if I were to unconnect it and install a new Heating and Air Conditioning system. She told me I should get a new Heating and Air Conditioning system, which now brought me to a new point. I had to decide if I wanted to stay with central Heating and Air Conditioning or go with something new, savor a ductless Heating and Air Conditioning system.
