I enjoy pets.
In fact, I enjoy all pets.
That’s why I’ve always been super lenient about our pet policy for our house rentals. However, our last renter has almost made me change our mind. I I knew they had a 30 lb pet when they moved in although I did not realize that our renters apparently did not believe in using a vacuum cleaner. When they moved out, there was pet hair everywhere. It was super embedded into the carpet in addition to the Heating & A/C plan was also full of pet hair. When I say the Heating & A/C plan was full of pet here I mean it was full of pet hair. It was in the ductwork in addition to trapped in the vents in addition to even inside of the Heating & A/C component itself. I have not even mentioned yet how full of pet hair the air filter was. It was disgusting. It looked care about a dryer filter after using the dryer for several weeks separate from increasing it. Of course, I called in our proper Heating & A/C business to come in addition to clean out our entire Heating & A/C system. I also had them do a thorough ductwork clean. The foreman told me I was lucky that our renters moved out when they did. If our Heating & A/C plan had gone on a little bit longer, being that dirty, it would not have survived. Now I’m worrying about our other Heating & A/C systems in our other rental houses. Most of our renters have pets or cats. I feel I’m going to start scheduling Heating & A/C maintenance at least once a year for all of our rental properties. That will be a lot cheaper than replacing our Heating & A/C systems anyway.
