I have an elderly neighbor who I’ve regularly been concerned about! I regularly go over to the house often to make sure the guy is okay, but he is a absolutely friendly guy & occasionally I even pick up groceries at the store for him.
I noticed that usually he has groceries delivered to his home, & it’s because he has a tough time getting around.
Periodically I wonder if he should be in a nursing home, but he seems to be the kind of guy who never wants to have to do that, and well, this past Wintertide season, I noticed that nobody was there helping him shovel his walkways & everything, so I went over to help him out. When he invited me inside, I came to realize that it was bitterly frosty in his home. I asked if everything was okay with his furnace. He said that his heating method seemed to be dying but he couldn’t afford to call up the Heating & A/C corporation. He had just a space oil furnace that he would rest in front of, but other than that there wasn’t much keeping his house warm. I decided that I had to do something so I called up the Heating & A/C corporation. He tried to stop me from doing that however I had to insist. He said that it costs a fantastic deal of money to have the gas furnace repaired & he didn’t want to be a burden to anybody. I didn’t listen & I had the Heating & A/C professional service his gas furnace. It wasn’t all that high-priced, & I wanted my neighbor to be safe & in good health. He thanked me when the gas furnace was working good again & I kept on checking up on him throughout the Wintertide months.
