The worst thing you could say to Randal on a stormy Sunday day is “Hello Randal, it’s me again…” Randal is the property manager at the office plaza where I work. She stops by the office a couple of times a week just to make sure that the air conditioning is working properly, see if any light bulbs need replacing, stuff such as that. All of us usually will chat about the weather plus what every one of us system on doing over the weekend. Periodically, Randal talks a little too much. Since I first started this task, she has told me to keep an eye on the climate control unit, plus if the temperature inside plus the set temperature is more than many degrees difference, to give him a call instantly. I didn’t notice that the air conditioning was not working until a client said “is it sizzling in here?”. I ran over to the control unit plus it read 76 degrees plus was set at 70! That’s when I knew I was in trouble. Per Randal’s request, I called instantly. She wasn’t even off the iPhone with me before she came walking up into our office! Lucky for me, she had a Heating plus Air Conditioning company servicing the unit next door plus was able to have our air conditioning blowing out frigid air in under ten minutes. I could not know it, Randal had saved the day. To make this story more impressive, it was pouring heavy rain plus the Heating plus Air Conditioning company still got on the roof. In a sizzling temperature in the middle of summer heat, this act performed by Randal was a godsend.
