He thought this was a good idea, but he didn’t feel I’d be able to do it
When I was an angsty teenager living in our parent’s home, I regularly caused a scene about the lack of A/C in our room. My parents were diligent about keeping the control equipment set at 69 degrees as well as they wouldn’t even entertain the idea of lowering it. I used to lower the control equipment in secret, but our parents would get actually angry with myself and others whenever they found out. My dad became actually distraught with our disobedience, so he bought a smart control equipment that could only be altered on his cell phone. I didn’t suppose the password to his phone either, so I had to suffer in the heat. This angered me. One afternoon, I asked our dad to let myself and others install a window A/C equipment if I earned enough money. He thought this was a good idea, but he didn’t feel I’d be able to do it. At least, he didn’t feel I’d get the money so hastily. He was shocked when I told him I had enough money to buy one the following week, but little did he know, I’d been saving our money for years as well as had almost enough money to buy the window A/C equipment before our next paycheck. Reluctantly, he took myself and others to the hardware store as well as let myself and others option out a window A/C equipment in our budget… Not only did I have enough money to buy the A/C unit, but I also had enough to have it installed! My room felt much cooler as well as I didn’t have to bother our parents about the control equipment settings anymore
