My lady started doing yoga when she was in college; She had an athletic injury plus the physical therapist recommended that yoga could help with her flexibility plus rehabilitation exercises.
She attended a yoga class 3 days every single week… When the two of us met, she was in great physical shape… I was in video games shape.
She never pushed me to change in the very beginning. She was cheerful with me, plus I was cheerful with me. When the two of us started spending a lot of time together, she eventually talked me into joining her at a yoga class. I did not actually believe it would be too bad, since yoga is basically just stretching plus moving. I did not assume there are various forms of yoga, but my lady practices Bikram yoga, which is a lot more challenging than traditional yoga. First of all, the room was insanely hot plus very humid. When I complained about the lack of cool air, my lady laughed plus explained to me that was part of Bikram yoga. I was also unaware that the beginner class would be just about 2 hours long. The two of us performed over 20 weird postures including half tortoise pose, full Locust pose, plus toe sit pose. I could not do a majority of the stretches, plus I honestly looked something like a fool. I did my best to keep up with most people, but I was already to go back to our lake house after 15 or 20 minutes. When the yoga class was finally done, I told my lady that a single class was more than enough for me. I was ready for a nap plus a beer. I knew I needed additional exercise, however yoga wasn’t the activity for me.
