When I get my migraines the only thing that helps is laying down and cranking the air conditioner down as low as it will go.
There is something about the cold air that seems to help with the pain and nausea.
Since I use my air conditioning system so often, it is no wonder that it finally broke down. I just wish that it had not broken down on a day when I was suffering from a migraine. I called a name-brand air conditioner company and they said they could not come out for 2 days. I felt like yelling at them but I just hung up the phone and cried instead. This broken A/C was making my migraine so much worse. Then I tried a smaller company. They said they could come out within the hour. I was so thankful when the HVAC truck arrived in front of my home on time. The HVAC technician looked at my air conditioner and said he would have to order a part and it would be ready the next day. When I pressed him about getting the part sooner he explained that they order the parts wholesale but that, if I was willing to pay a little bit more, he could get it from the home improvement store and have it installed today. I asked him to do that. Sure enough. He had my air conditioner running again that afternoon. I could finally lay down and turn on the air conditioner and wait for my migraine to go away. At least I didn’t have to wait a few days for this.
