Moving up north for my work

My spouse & I will be moving up north in a few weeks! I keep telling him that older people move further south, not north, when they reach their retirement years, but however, his daughter lives in the north & he would like to be closer to her & the grandyoungsters.

Honestly, so do I; As all of us were looking at houses to buy all of us kept filtering out anything that does not have central heating, ventilation, & A/C system. However, all of us are finding unquestionably few houses with cooling systems. Instead, all of us keep finding this thing called a heat pump. Apparently it is like a correct Heating & Air Conditioning system but different. Apparently the heating aspect works better than the cooling aspect, then when all of us shared our problems with our step-daughter, she told us that all of us don’t need central air conditioning system; She only has a window air conditioning system equipment herself & she reassured us that a heat pump will be more than reasonable… Of course, common heat is a lot more pressing than air conditioning system in the north. It will be quite an adjustment to go from a climate where all of us run the cooling system 9 weeks out of the year to a new climate where all of us run the furnace 9 weeks out of the year… But I am sure that all of us can adjust in time. In fact, I am looking forward to experiencing real seasons. I’ve never really experiences all the leaves increasing in fall or a white winter. So now all of us are worrying less about the air conditioning system & more about the heat in our apartment prospects. I can’t wait for us to settle on a arena & move up north.
