I always sweat a lot when I am nervous. Unfortunately, I am always nervous at job interviews. Waiting to get called into the office and then being grilled makes my body feel like it just ran a 5k. Then I get nervous that I am sweating too much and this just makes me sweat more. Last week, I had an interview and the office was extra hot and stuffy. I could feel the sweat dripping down my back. When it finally came time for me to ask a few questions, I asked if it was always so hot in the office. The person giving the interview said that it was comfortable to him. That gave me my answer. I did not accept the job when it was offered to me. However, yesterday I had a different interview and I hope I get a call back. The reception area was cool and comfortable and I could feel the air conditioner working hard. When I went into the office to have the interview, I felt cool and comfortable there too. I did not notice all of the sweat that is normally present. I mentioned how comfortable the office felt and this made the manager smile. He explained that they put a lot of money into temperature control when they first bought the building and that the air conditioner costs more than his car. We spent most of the interview talking about temperature control but I feel like we kind of hit it off. It seems to be a good company to work for.
