Upgrading to central air conditioning for the sake of air quality

The people I was with and I waited quite a few years before installing central air conditioning into our home, but our location in the northwestern part of the country means exceptionally long and freezing winters with short summers… The people I was with and I regularly rely on the furnace for 6 to many weeks per year and see hot and cold temperatures down to negative twenty more than four, however despite the brevity of the summer time eason, the people I was with and I occasionally experience hot and cold temperatures in the upper eighties and high humidity, but just as frequently, the whole summer time is cloudy, chilly and wet.

The people I was with and I managed by installing window air conditionings in the home offices and electric box fans in the rest of the house.

The portable air conditionings cost less than $200 a piece and were super easy to install. The investment in a central air conditioning seemed unnecessary, then however, when my oldest daughter was inspected with asthma and drastic allergies, the people I was with and I needed to make some swings… Suddenly, indoor air pollen levels was a major priority and dusting and vacuuming wasn’t enough. The people I was with and I needed to take more proactive measures. Shutting the windows to keep out bugs, pollen, exhaust fumes and exterior pollution was a nice start, however adding a central cooling system not only helps to maintain a comfortable temperature however works to circulate and filter the air, and i also make an effort to replace the air filters more frequently. I am surprised by how often the people I was with and I use the air conditioning, and even when the conditions aren’t especially sizzling or humid, running the cooling system keeps the whole home fresher, cleaner and more comfortable. It was absolutely a worthwhile investment. I spent extra for a higher efficiency model to keep operating costs as low as possible.
