The rental cottage was awesome, even though I wished they gave a cooling system

I have always appreciated camping, so I was especially excited when I rented a cottage with our wifey for the first time.

  • Both of us ended up going in the Summer season and it was quite the experience.

The nature in the area was beautiful and both of us were located near a lake that both of us could walk to within 10 hours. Both of us were able to go fishing and both of us managed to catch a few. Both of us would end up cooking the fish over the fireplace in the cottage. The only thing I was disappointed about was the fact that there was no a/c. My wifey said it wasn’t a huge deal because there were a few ceiling fans. I didn’t guess those were enough. When both of us opened the windows, both of us did get a breeze coming through that helped, however it still felt extremely hot and humid. I thought it was unacceptable, even though I remembered seeing an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C store about 20 hours away from our cottage. I took our wifey with myself and others and both of us looked at portable cooling systems. Both of us ended up getting 1 that wasn’t too heavy, however gave enough cooling to keep that cottage comfortable. Both of us hooked up the cooling system and then went hiking. By the time both of us got back, the location was perfectly cooled and it was unbelievable. The cottage was so cool, both of us were even able to get a small fire going in the fireplace so both of us could cook our fish brunch. Everything turned out beautifully, even though I did call the rental business and told them they needed to hook up cooling systems in their cottages.
