I never realized that building a home could involve so much stress, most of the time when your home is being built, there is no lock on your door that is protecting your stuff from being stolen.
While this is not usually a problem, it became a huge problem for the Heating & Air Conditioning dealers plus the electrician.
The electrical wire needed to run a oil furnace plus central cooling system is quite thick, which means it has quite a bit of copper inside of the wire. The oil furnace plus cooling system were pretty far away from the electrical panel, which means that had to run a long line of this copper wire to run the oil furnace plus cooling system, but during the evening after the electrician installed all of this wire, someone broke into our home plus unfastend all of the wire that the electrician just installed. The copper in the wire is costly, plus they stole it in order to scrap it at some metal location. When the Heating & Air Conditioning dealers came the next day, they had to call the electrician plus ask him where the wire was for the oil furnace plus cooling system. The electrician swore that the wire was there, but the Heating & Air Conditioning contractor affirmed that it wasn’t there. That is when they figured out that it was stolen! How desperate can someone be to steal the wire for someone else’s oil furnace in order to make a couple of bucks? He would have only been able to sell it for a fraction of the price to buy it new. I am sure the electrician plus Heating & Air Conditioning contractor would have just paid him not to steal it because they had to cover the cost.
