As an A/C service company, I have to guess on my feet. I need to be able to solve troubles hastily. I have to be able to evaluate and resolve a situation hastily. I entirely love that part of my job. Sometimes it can be boring day after day, but each service is love a puzzle that needs to be solved. A few weeks ago, the owner of the heating and A/C service company where I work picked up a new commercial client. The commercial purchaser owns an more than seven suite office building and we are in charge of servicing all of the heating and A/C needs. One of the suites was experiencing A/C troubles, so the owner of the building called the location where I work. I was assigned to help with the repair. It was my first time on the property and I was entirely surprised when I realized that all of the A/C units are on top of the building. In fact, they are situated on a slope on the backside of the building where it is severely strenuous to location a ladder. I had to climb up one side of the building and walk across the roof to the other side where the A/C unit is situated. I had to drag all of my tools up the ladder and across the roof. It was one of the hardest A/C units that I have ever had to fix. I have no method how we would replace the unit if a brand new A/C unit is necessary. The two of us would need a forklift or a crane just to put the equipment in the typical position.
