For a long time, my wife kept saying how she hated how frigid the tiles in the bathroom were. She couldn’t stand feeling that frosty jolt each time she got out of the shower. She said it typically ruined her mornings and it was hard for her to get ready for the day. I felt bad and I tried to figure out what I could do. I thought this would be an issue for the HVAC professionals to solve, so I ended up calling them. I was delighted when they told me they have solutions for this type of thing. While I was tempted to just get an electric heater for the bathroom of some sort, I realized that could be dangerous with all the water. So I talked to these guys and they said radiant heated floors were my best bet. They said the radiant heated floors could be installed only in the bathroom or even throughout the whole house. They said if I was only going to do the bathrooms, it would be best to get the electric floor heating mats placed underneath the tiles. Then the tiles would always be perfectly warm based on our temperature control settings. They said with a larger installation, it would be best to go with hydronic heating which would have heated water flowing through tubes underneath the floors. It all sounded very interesting and I decided to just have the bathrooms done. I decided to make it a surprise and had the radiant heated floors working before she went into the bathroom. She was absolutely amazed at how warm the floors were and she felt so happy. She kept telling me how nice it was that I had radiant heated floors installed. I’m just glad she loves them!
