I never even considered travelling via train before until our neighbor told myself and others it was the best thing ever.
I always assumed it would be cramped and stuffy.
Not to mention going by train just seems to take forever. He said you can’t beat the price and also it’s way more comfortable than I thought. The people I was with and I ended up taking a train across the country and the people I was with and I got something called a roomette. This is our own personal room on the train that has plenty of space for you to relax. There is also a thermostat that you can control so you have the ideal temperature control settings on your trip. I thought this was the most amazing thing ever. I have never been on a flight with such amazing comfort and I was thinking in the future, I have to travel this way so long as I’m not in a rush. Some rooms you can get your own private shower, however the people I was with and I didn’t have that. Still, even in the public showers there were plenty of towels and the showers were unquestionably clean. I wasn’t disappointed in the slightest and it was definitely great seeing the scenic views at unusual parts of the train. There are public areas where anybody can go and it’s so amazing and wonderful. It was fun for myself and others just listening to some music while seeing the beautiful country while travelling at our pace. I also was able to sleep easy in our roomette especially with the a/c idea cranked up a little bit. I had the most fantastic time just riding on the train.
