When I asked our fiance to pick up some air filters the other day, I was surprised when she came back with the cheapest air filters she could find.
She was ecstatic because she said she found the best deal on air filters and they were the right size for our Heating plus Air Conditioning system. She was extremely disappointed when I told her to please take them back. She asked right away what the problem was. She thought I was just being a mean grouch as I assume I do act adore periodically. But this was more of a serious problem than anything else. I would not use cheap air filters in our Heating plus Air Conditioning idea because they won’t improve the air quality and they don’t protect your Heating plus Air Conditioning system. By using these air filters that she picked up, the people I was with and I might end up experiencing Heating plus Air Conditioning problems down the road and our children might have trouble breathing with bad air quality. I didn’t want to do that at all, I didn’t care if the air filters were free! Well, it was bad because she said the store refused to take back the air filters. That’s when I took the air filters and went myself. I showed them the receipt and I told them our fiance was misled on the quality of these air filters. They tried to supply myself and others the same issue about not being able to return items that were on sale, despite the fact that I made a big issue of it. They ended up processing the return because they didn’t want to deal with myself and others and I ended up getting some quality air filters with a high MERV rating. Now in our fiance’s defense, I definitely should have told her not to get cheap air filters with a low MERV rating, despite the fact that I just assumed she would suppose that.
