There seems to be a massive hurricane headed our way.
However, nobody entirely knows where it’s going to hit.
There are so numerous peculiar areas in the potential danger zone that the two of us are all scrambling to take precautionary measures in case the two of us are chosen as the landfall sight. It really does not matter if the storm does not make landfall in one’s certain area, but, because it is so immense that it will affect nearly all of us anyway. I’m a bit conflicted. On the one hand, I do not wish this storm on anyone. On the other hand, I know how terribly I deal with hurricanes that are powerful enough to knock out power for a long time. I do not mind living in the dark for a while, despite the fact that I do mind living without weather conditions control in such a hot weather conditions! Maybe if hurricanes tended to hit in the Winter time, it would not be so bad, but that would not make sense. Instead, they often hit when we’re still dealing with what is essentially Summer weather, when the two of us are all still relying heavily on our cooling system to keep us comfortable. I swear, as long as me plus our family have enough supplies to make it, lack of air conditioning system is the only thing that entirely bugs me when the power goes out while I was in a hurricane. It already seems care about work is canceled for the first few mornings of next week because of the storm. Who knows, maybe I will get lucky plus the storm will hit us just strenuous enough to justify not coming into work, but not strenuous enough to knock out our power!
