Ductless heat pump is perfect for temperature control when I’m sick

Last summer, I came down with a really nasty flu. I had a fever of 102, sore throat, stuffy nose and I kept sneezing. I had a headache and every time I had a sip of water, I threw up. I missed a ton of work. I spent three straight days lying in bed, switching between shivering and sweating. I’d get so cold that I’d pile on the blankets. I’d then get so overheated that I’d kick all the blankets off. I was very thankful for the ductless heat pump installed in my bedroom. There is a compact air handler mounted up high on the wall. I actually have eight separate air handlers connected to a single outdoor compressor. Each air handler includes an independent thermostat that allows customized control. I can adjust the thermostat in the bedroom without affecting any of the other rooms. This was extremely helpful while I was sick. The air handler is operated from a cordless remote, so I didn’t even need to get out of bed to raise or lower the room temperature. Plus, I was able to switch between heating and cooling. The ductless heat pump is wonderfully energy efficient, which helps to keep running costs low. Despite my constant temperature changes, I wasn’t worried about my energy bills. The ductless heat pump features inverter technology and automatically adapts capacity to demand. The system is able to run at much lower speeds and maintains more even temperatures. It’s especially quiet, and didn’t disrupt my sleep.
