They have the best chicken wings. They also have live music during the week, and some of the best local Jazz bands play there. It is a very clean, comfortable and respectable tavern. Everyone who patronizes our local tavern is somewhat of a friend. Another great feature about this tavern is the temperature control. Even during the hottest evenings in the summer, the venue is always perfectly cool. The air conditioner is compact yet super effective. It’s never too cold, and there’s no hot or cold spots. Most other venues in town are equipped with air conditioner, but they tend to overuse it. I hate being forced to wear a jacket because of how low the thermostat is set. In the winter, the tavern is always nice and warm. The air never feels overly dry or stuff. The tavern is equipped with a ductless multi-split system. There are four separate air handlers mounted on the walls. These air handlers are very compact and streamlined yet put out a tremendous amount of heated or cooled air. They operate quietly and feature inverter technology. This allows the equipment to adapt capacity to match demand. Most often, the ductless heat pump operates at lower speeds for longer cycles. This allows lower operational sound, greater energy efficiency and more consistent temperature. It’s amazing that all of the air handlers are linked to a single outdoor air compressor.
