I learned how to fix HVAC units, but I knew that I wasn’t going to like fixing HVAC units after I tried it for the first time
I really don’t want to have to fix another HVAC unit in my entire life. I really don’t like fixing HVAC units, and it makes me wonder why I ever decided to become an HVAC technician in the first place. Looking back, I think that it was the awesome perks of becoming an HVAC technician that really drew me in. When the HVAC technician was explaining my job to me and what I would get as an HVAC technician, I was hooked. All my friends were going to spend tens of thousands of dollars on college, but I was going to get my training as an HVAC technician for free. Furthermore, I would be able to find a job anywhere as an HVAC technician since HVAC technicians are in very high demand. My job would come with high benefits, and I would be able to run my own HVAC company someday. However, the only problem with all these perks is that they don’t matter if I hate my job as an HVAC technician. Working as an HVAC technician is literally the worst possible thing that I could imagine myself doing. I learned how to fix HVAC units, but I knew that I wasn’t going to like fixing HVAC units after I tried it for the first time. Why would anyone even want to learn how to fix HVAC units in the first place? Every furnace and every central air conditioner are completely different, and it is such a chore trying to figure out what is wrong with my HVAC units all the time. I wish that I would have found a better job. Do you think that it is too late to quit my job as an HVAC technician?
